The Varsity Boys' Basketball won the 2nd annual 2017 Mountain Valley Burger King Tip-Off Tournament. The Knights defeated Bath County 58-30 on Friday and then won a thrilling 50-49 game against Monticello on Saturday. Nick Johns and Ethan Gerber were both named to the All Tournament team. Eli Roeschley was named Tournament MVP for his outstanding play and leadership. Congratulations!
Congratulations to the following band members for being selected to the All-District Band this past Saturday (12/2/17).
District Choir Auditions were held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. There are 19 schools in our district that all send students for auditions. Turner Ashby High School had 33 students make district choir and 3 alternates (names listed below) TA had the most students make it into District Choir with the next highest school only having 26 make it. The concert will be Saturday, January 20, 2018. at Stuarts Draft High School. Congratulations students!

On Friday, November 10, 2017, members of Turner Ashby DECA competed at the district leadership conference at the Valley Mall. Everyone did a great job and represented TA in a professional manner! Hannah Hirtriter won two 1st place medals- one in retail marketing and the other in Business Service marketing. Patrick Ritchie scored a hat-trick and won all three of his events. He placed first in marketing communications, accounting applications and human resources. Next DECA will compete at the state leadership conference in Virginia Beach in March. Way to go TA DECA!
