In the State Finals for Softball on Friday, June 14, 2019, the Turner Ashby Lady Knights finished in second place. They lost to Liberty High School 4-1. Congratulations on a great season ladies!
TA wins 11-0 against Skyline High School to advance to the 3A State Finals! They will take on Liberty High School tomorrow Friday, June 14, 2019, at the Moyer Complex in Salem. Game time is 9:00 A.M.

Congratulations to the following French students for ranking at the top of the nation on the National French Contest. Grace Mower and Kaitlyn Wilson received Honorable Mention in French 3 and Jennifer Lopez received Honorable Mention in French 4. Elsa Waidelich received a Silver Medal for a national ranking of 12th and placing in the 85th percentile in French 3.

Congratulations to the varsity baseball and varsity softball teams on their District Semi-Final victories yesterday here at TA. The baseball team beat Rockbridge 5-1, and the softball team shut-out Spotswood 7-0. Both teams will play in the District Championship games Friday night at Harrisonburg High School. Both games start at 7:00 P.M., and you will be able to watch both if you choose.
Girls’ tennis did it again! Valley District Champions two years in a row! They earned it by edging undefeated Fort Defiance 5-3. Battling to win some intense singles matches were Malena Hoover, Grace Pierantoni, Anna Phillips and Tori Moats. Pulling out of a one set hole, in doubles, to win the overall match were Grace and Anna at doubles. Congratulations to a tough minded and tenacious group of TA Knights!
The Debate program finished third at the AAA State competition on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Seth Stapel and Barrett Gay were the state champions in Policy Debate! Elsa Waidelich and Abby Villacrusis were also state medalists (3rd Policy Debate). Also competing for the Knights were Allison Miller (4th Student Congress), Brandon Onestack (6th Lincoln Douglas), and Austin Moody (11th Student Congress).
