The Angel Tree Project is up and running for 2016! If you would like to sponsor a child in need, please fill out the form linked below to obtain a wish list.
We are also collecting personal hygiene and non-perishable food items for elderly citizens in need. This list is also on the form linked below.
The TAHS DECA club would like to say a tremendous thank you to the TA family for helping us with this project. With your help we were able to provide gifts and necessities for 200 children in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County! We will deliver the personal hygiene and non-perishable food items to Social Services next week for elderly citizens in need.
Here is a link to an awesome 3D video (thanks to Katie Moran's technology wizardry) of all of the gifts before we took them to Social Services. This is an interactive 3D picture so use your mouse to move around my classroom. Below is a panoramic picture of the room, as well.
The DECA Angel Tree Project continues this week! You all have done a great job by already sponsoring over 100 kids in need of holiday gifts, BUT we still have 84 children who need a sponsor. We are also in need of personal hygiene and non- perishable goods for the local elderly. You can sign up for sponsoring during lunches and in room 104. Thank you so much, and happy holidays!
The DECA Angel Tree Project is here! We have 200 local underprivileged children who without your help will not receive gifts and necessities this holiday season. In addition, we will be collecting personal hygiene and non-perishable goods to help elderly citizens in need in our community. To be a sponsor for a child, pick up a wish list in room 104 or during all 3 lunches starting next week. Personal hygiene items and non-perishable goods list can be picked up in room 104, during all 3 lunches, and on posters hung up around the school. All items need to be turned in to Mrs. Talley’s room (104) by Wednesday, December 2nd.
